Winning
In 2017, I was honored to have had one of my poems, The Vagabond Quothe Shakespeare awarded 6th place in a national poetry contest, annually conducted by The Writers Digest. The work was awarded this placement from over 1,700 entries that were submitted that year, coast to coast.
At present my focus in writing is split between my poetry and playwriting. My most immediate aims are both to publish as well as obtain a MFA in Poetry. I am pleased to say that I am enrolled as a graduate student at San Francisco State University, which boast one of the top Creative Writing Programs on the West Coast, to achieve this aim.
When not developing my own lines and word play, I can be found lending my voice talents; recording poetry for the public sharing of other poetic treasures, through the good folks at Voetica.com. Most notably on that platform, reading the works of Poet Laureates: Robert Pinsky and Tracy K. Smith.
